Company Terms
Cancellation Policy:
For any cancellations, we kindly request 48 hours’ notice in advance. Please refer to the following tour cancellation policies:
Private Guided Tours:
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a 70% refund or may be rescheduled within 12 months.
If the new date is more expensive, you must pay the price difference; if cheaper, the difference cannot be refunded.
• If you have only paid a 30% deposit, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If cancellation occurs within 48 hours before departure, no refund will be given.
However, you may reschedule within 24 hours before departure for a £30 rescheduling fee. If the new date or time is more expensive, the price difference must be paid.
Shared Guided Tours:
All shared tickets are fixed to a specific date and time.
If you cannot attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to change your date.
If the new date/time is more expensive, you must pay the difference; if cheaper, no refund will be issued.
COVID-19 Policy
If any member of your group tests positive for COVID-19, you may request a full refund or reschedule (if the new date is more expensive, the difference must be paid).
The following conditions must be met:
• We are notified before 9:00 AM on the day of departure.
• You provide proof of a positive PCR or LFT test result uploaded to the NHS website.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late, you may miss your tour. We will do our best to assist, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
Depending on availability, we may attempt to reschedule on the same day, but whether a reschedule or partial refund is offered will be at the sole discretion of We Are Cambridge Ltd.
No Show
If you fail to attend your tour without notifying us, no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
Health and Safety
Our punting tours are suitable for all ages and group types.
Experienced punt chauffeurs will ensure the safety of all passengers and boats.
During the punting tour, please remain seated at all times, keep your hands inside the boat, and follow the safety instructions of your chauffeur.
During walking tours, please be mindful of potential hazards such as bicycles, vehicles, lampposts, and uneven surfaces.
Weather Conditions
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather.
We will do our best to provide blankets and umbrellas, but this is not guaranteed and depends on conditions on the day.
If weather conditions make the tour unsafe, we will offer a full refund or assist you in rescheduling.
If the tour is cancelled by us due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
If you choose to cancel due to weather, please give at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a full refund.
If no notice is given or we cannot be contacted, no refund will be issued.
If you wish to reschedule due to weather, a £30 rescheduling fee will apply.
Please contact us as early as possible.
Booking Policy
Tours provided by We Are Cambridge Ltd may be subject to changes or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
If a tour is cancelled, we will offer either an alternative tour of equal or higher value, or a full refund.
All booked departure times are fixed; arriving late may result in missing your tour.
Guardianship
We Are Cambridge Ltd requires that all participants under 16 years of age be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Liability
We Are Cambridge Ltd accepts no responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, or personal injuries occurring during the tour (including at the check-in locations).
Before participating, you are responsible for reading and following our Health & Safety Guidelines.
Payment Methods
You may pay via our online booking system, by phone, or by bank transfer using a debit or credit card.
All payments are accepted in GBP (£).
• Bookings made more than 2 weeks in advance: A 30% deposit or full payment is required to confirm your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before departure.
• Bookings made within 2 weeks of departure: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Accessibility
We are committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy our tours.
However, due to the traditional design of the flat-bottomed punts and the nature of our walking routes, there may be limitations for those with mobility difficulties.
If you have special requirements, please contact us to discuss possible arrangements.
Alcohol Policy
To ensure the safety of all guests and our team, We Are Cambridge Ltd does not permit intoxicated customers to join any tour.
In such cases, we will require your contact details and charge a £30 rescheduling fee to rearrange your tour.
Tour Confirmation
If you purchase your tour via bank transfer or telephone booking, your confirmation letter will be sent through our online booking system or by email, serving as your electronic ticket.
Please present either the electronic confirmation or a printed copy at check-in.
If lost, you may request a replacement from We Are Cambridge Ltd before the date of departure.
