Dominating the entire streetscape is the breathtaking King’s College Chapel. Commissioned by Henry VI in 1441, this Gothic marvel features the largest fan-vaulted ceiling in the world. King's Parade is also home to the Senate House, where Cambridge students have gathered for over 300 years to officially graduate. On graduation days, the street fills with students in full academic dress and fur-lined gowns.
